A formal evaluation of your child’s strengths and weaknesses in his communication skills is necessary to determine the need and direction of therapy. Your child will participate in standardized assessment, informal observations and measures, analysis of case history, and intake of parent and or teacher reports. A written report will follow along with a 15 minute parent consultation to discuss findings and recommendations.  The duration of an evaluation may be between 30 and 90 minutes and may require more than 1 session for completion depending on your child.
